RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) tags embedded in reusable "returnable racks,” which help to reduce environmental loads, makes it possible to track loaded cargo, and to manage the racks as assets by tracking the number of them after use and preventing them from going missing.

When returnable racks with built-in RFID tags pass through the readers installed at facilities such as the customer’ factory and warehouse, and external logistics warehouse, the information on the tags is automatically read. Based on the information, accurate data including the time of passage at each point, current position on the transportation route and quantity of cargo is provided. From vanning (loading into containers) after manufacturing at a factory and transportation by container ship, loading/unloading at overseas delivery points to temporary storage and final loading of empty racks, information on cargo, racks and other elements are automatically captured at each point on the transportation route and managed.
